Ellagic acid inhibits cancer cell

Consuming fruits or vegetables not only purple we will
get Anthocianin we already know have a good function
in controlling heart disease but also will get a compound
Ellagic acid

Ellagic acid is a phenol structure which was first discovered in
1960s known preventing the ability of the process
blood clotting.

Further in 70s to 80s began many ellagic acid
examined and found to significantly inhibit the growth
several types of tumors.

Research conducted by Dr D Nixon of the Medical University of
South Carolina (1993) demonstrated the ability Ellagic acid
can fight and prevent cancer cell growth and
stop the process of Mitosis (cell proliferation)

We have already discussed that bnyak acid Elagik (ellagic acid) has
ability to reduce the effects of estrogen in promoting cell growth
breast cancer

Besides Ellagic acid content, purple fruit also megandung
salicylates (salicylates), which showed close correlation between the
menigkatnya salicylate consumption with reduced risk of contracting
heart attack.
